finally got some new and sweet hardware for ma computer, check it out:

AMD FX-6100 6-Core processor, currently running at 3.3 Ghz stock. Soon to be OC'd, of course.

16 Gigabyte (4x4) CORSAIR Vengeance DDR3 CL9 Memory

ASUS M5A78L-LE (AM3+) Motherboard. No fancy gimmicks, just does what it does best.

NVIDIA GTX 260 with 896 Mb GDDR3 memory.

Compared to my old computer, this is seven kinds of awesome!

Apparently, the AMD FX series is not so great at single-core performances, but that doesn't mean shit to me, when you can play Smash Bros. Brawl with a resolution of 2556x2112 with no lag.

So there.

The graphics card is (comparably) older than the rest of the system but I can play Skyrim, GTA4 and Saints Row with every setting maxed out. Fluently.

Suck it.

Up next: Overclocking and the Great Results!
